Claude can connect to your Flashcloud account and answer questions about it in plain language — and, with your approval, help you manage it. This works in Claude for web, the Claude desktop app, and Claude Code.
The connector URL you'll need:
https://mcp.flashcloud.com/mcp
Claude (web or desktop)
- Open Settings → Connectors.
- Click Add custom connector.
- Paste the connector URL:
https://mcp.flashcloud.com/mcp - Click Connect. Claude opens a Flashcloud sign-in page.
- Sign in with your Flashcloud email and password (and your two-factor code if you have it enabled).
- On the permissions screen, tick what you want Claude to access. Reading is on by default; action permissions are off until you tick them, and every action still asks you before it runs.
- Click Connect.
That's it. Try asking:
What's my Flashcloud account status?
Claude Code (command line)
Run:
claude mcp add --transport http flashcloud https://mcp.flashcloud.com/mcp
The first time you use a Flashcloud tool, Claude Code walks you through the same secure sign-in.
Managing the connection
Everything you approved shows up in your portal under Goodies → AI Agents, along with a full activity log. You can disconnect Claude there any time — it loses access immediately.
Good to know
- Claude never sees your password — sign-in happens on Flashcloud's own page.
- Actions (like editing DNS) always show you what will change and wait for your yes.
- Claude can never pay, change your password, or cancel services — those only happen in the portal.
