To stop routing a domain through Cloudflare, go to Cloudflare CDN in the portal sidebar, find the domain, and switch its Proxy toggle off. Unlike a typical Cloudflare account where you get an orange cloud you can flip individually on each DNS record, Flashcloud's Cloudflare CDN page exposes one proxy switch per domain. Turn it off and every record for that domain stops passing through Cloudflare's network at once, not selectively.
There's no separate cloudflare.com login here either. Cloudflare sits in front of your hosting as part of the platform. The portal page is the only place you manage it, and there's no customer dashboard on Cloudflare's own site to log into.
What actually changes when you turn proxy off
With the proxy on, visitor traffic hits Cloudflare's edge first, including DDoS protection and edge caching. Turn the proxy off and visitors connect directly to your hosting instead, so those protections no longer apply.
Why you might turn it off
A few legitimate reasons come up:
- You're debugging whether a problem is coming from Cloudflare's edge or from your server, and want to rule Cloudflare out by testing direct.
- Something Cloudflare is doing. Aggressive caching, Rocket Loader, or a minification setting is breaking part of your site and you want a quick way to confirm the cause. See Every Cloudflare setting explained for what each toggle actually does before you decide it's the culprit.
- You're mid-migration and want traffic to bypass the CDN layer temporarily while you sort out DNS.
If you're chasing an SSL or certificate problem, check Cloudflare SSL/TLS modes: Full vs Flexible on Flashcloud before assuming the proxy is the cause.
Turning it back on
Flip the same toggle back on and traffic routes through Cloudflare's edge again.
If you're not sure which domain you're looking at
The Cloudflare CDN page shows per-domain cards with live status, and Find your way around the portal has the full map of where everything else lives if you're still getting oriented.
When to open a ticket
If you turn the proxy off and the site still won't load directly, or something still looks wrong, that's worth a ticket rather than more guessing. Open one from Support > New ticket in the portal. It goes to a real person, not a bot.
