Once you've connected an AI assistant to your Flashcloud account, finding an invoice or a renewal date is just a question away. Ask "what invoices do I have unpaid?" or "when does my domain renew?" and the assistant reads your billing and domain records directly, no portal login required for the lookup itself.
What you can ask
The connector exposes read tools for your invoices and domains, so plain-language questions map to real account data:
- "List my unpaid invoices" or "show me overdue invoices from last quarter"
- "When does example.com renew?" or "which of my domains renew in the next 30 days?"
- "Is auto-renew on for my domains?"
These are all read-only questions. The assistant answers from your account data the same way the portal's /invoices page and Domains section would show you, just narrated instead of tabled.
When the assistant offers to act
Reading invoices and renewal dates doesn't touch anything, so there's nothing to confirm. But if you ask something adjacent that involves a change, for example asking it to open a support ticket about a billing question, the assistant will show you a proposal first: exactly what it's about to do, in plain language, and wait for your explicit yes before doing it. Nothing happens silently.
Some things stay out of reach no matter what you ask. An assistant can't make a payment, touch a saved card, or renew a domain for you. Those all require the portal directly: cards on file live under /invoices in the Payment methods section at the bottom of the page, and a domain's Renew now button and Auto-renew toggle live on that domain's own page under Domains.
Checking what the assistant can see
Every connected assistant, whether it's Gemini, Cursor, or another MCP-compatible tool, reads and writes through the same permission model. Reading is on by default when you connect; if you never enabled any action permissions, it can only answer questions like these, it can't change anything even if you ask it to.
You can see the exact scope at any time in your portal under AI Agents. That page lists every connected assistant and exactly what it's allowed to do. If you ever want to pull back access, you can disconnect an assistant from that same page.
If something looks wrong
If an assistant reports an invoice total or renewal date that doesn't match what you expect, don't have it "fix" the discrepancy itself, billing corrections aren't something any assistant can do. Open a ticket from Support → New ticket in the portal instead so a real person can look at the account.
