If you've connected an AI assistant to your Flashcloud account, you can ask it to open a support ticket instead of logging into the portal yourself. Tell it what's wrong in plain language, review what it proposes, and approve it. Actions always ask you before they run, every time.
This works the same way across Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible tool, because they all talk to the same connector and the same set of account tools.
How it works
Opening a ticket is an action, not a read, so it follows the same two-step pattern as any other change your assistant makes: it proposes, you confirm, then it executes. Ask something like "open a ticket about my site returning a 500 error" or "my mail isn't sending, can you open a support ticket." The assistant will typically ask a few clarifying questions first: which domain or service the issue affects, and what you've already tried.
Before anything is sent, it asks for your explicit approval to run the action. If the draft is missing detail, correct it before confirming.
What to include so support can act fast
The same rules apply here as opening a ticket manually: specifics beat vague reports. Give your assistant enough to work with so the ticket it drafts is useful on arrival:
- The exact domain or subdomain affected
- What you expected to happen versus what actually happened
- Any error message, status code, or screenshot description
- When it started and whether it's constant or intermittent
- What you've already tried, including any other actions your assistant has already taken this session
If the issue is something your assistant can diagnose first, let it check with the cPanel tools before drafting the ticket. A ticket that already states "confirmed the A record points to the right IP, still not resolving" gets picked up faster than "my site is down."
What your assistant can't do here
Opening a ticket is one of the actions available with permission, but it's still bounded the same way every other assistant action is. Some things still require the portal directly: anything involving payments, passwords, two-factor settings, or domain and service-level changes outside the tools it has access to.
Your assistant also can't see or use your password. Every connection happens through a secure sign-in, and it only ever has the permissions you granted when you connected it.
Reviewing or revoking access
The connected agents list under Goodies → AI Agents in your portal shows each agent's permissions, status, and connected/last-used dates. If you want to double-check what's connected, or disconnect the assistant entirely, that page is where you do it.
When to open the ticket yourself
If your assistant isn't connected, doesn't have action permissions enabled, or the issue involves something outside its reach (billing changes, password resets, cancellations), open the ticket directly in the portal under Support. Either path reaches the same team of real humans, no phone line. For anything involving credentials, use the secure share panel on the ticket rather than pasting a password into the description.
