Which TLDs do you support?

We support 200+ TLDs, covering everything from the classic generics to the long tail of newer extensions and country-codes.

At a glance

  • Classic generics.com, .net, .org, .biz, .info.
  • New generics.app, .dev, .io, .tech, .shop, .store, .blog, .cloud, .online, .site, .studio, .team, hundreds more.
  • Country-codes.us, .uk, .co.uk, .ca, .de, .fr, .eu, .au, .nz, .in, .com.au, .co.nz, .es, .it, .nl, .be, .ch, .at, dozens more.
  • Industry-specific.lawyer, .dentist, .photography, .design, .engineer, .financial, etc.

To see what's available for a name you have in mind, search at Marketplace → Domains. We check all major TLDs in one go.

Pricing tiers

TLDs fall into rough pricing tiers:

  • Standard.com, .net, .org, most country-codes. Usually $10–20/year.
  • Premium.io, .ai, .dev, .app. Usually $30–80/year.
  • Specialty — industry TLDs (.lawyer, .attorney) and some country-codes. Variable.

The order form shows year-1 and renewal pricing for every TLD before you commit. No hidden tiers.

TLDs with extra registration requirements

Some TLDs require extra information at registration time, set by the registry. Most common:

  • .us — Nexus category. You need to be a US citizen, US-based business, or have a US connection.
  • .co.uk — legal type (individual, sole trader, limited company).
  • .de — German postal address required; tax ID for some registrants.
  • .eu — EU residency required.
  • .ca — Canadian Presence Requirements (you need a Canadian connection — citizen, company, etc.).
  • .ru, .es, .it — varying additional fields.

The order form prompts you for whatever's required when you pick a TLD. Tooltips explain each field.

Which TLDs allow WHOIS privacy?

Most do, free with us. The exceptions:

  • .us — registry policy, no privacy.
  • .in — same.
  • .eu — registrant info redacted by default for individuals (GDPR), but no separate privacy proxy.
  • A few others — varies by registry.

The order form tells you whether privacy is available before checkout. See WHOIS privacy for the full picture.

TLDs included in the free-domain bundle

If you're ordering hosting that includes a free domain, the eligible TLDs are typically:

  • .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz
  • A handful of country-codes depending on the plan.

The order form labels each TLD as "Free with hosting" or shows its standard price so there's no ambiguity. See Free domain with hosting.

Premium-priced individual names

Even on a standard TLD, the registry can flag specific names as premium. A one-word .com ("garden.com," "fast.com") might list at thousands of dollars per year because the registry has it on a premium list.

When this happens, we show you the premium price upfront. You can register it at that price or pick something else.

Can I bring a TLD you don't support?

If you find a TLD you want that's not in our list, open a ticket and we'll check whether we can add it. Most ICANN-approved TLDs are addable; some country-codes have restrictions that prevent us from being a registrar for them.

For obscure TLDs we can't support, you can usually:

  • Register at a registrar that supports it.
  • Point its DNS at our nameservers (or use custom nameservers as needed).

Your hosting and email work the same regardless of where the domain is registered.
